This jewelry box is neither fun nor antique. The quality is subpar and the vintage look is unconvincing. The only plus is that it can be used as decor when not being used to store jewelry. The cons far outweigh the pros though, and it's not worth the price. Stick to other Home and Kitchen organizers for storing your valuables.

Heavy material, beautiful details! The only thing I noticed was some white things in the creases. Tried wiping it with a damp cloth, thought it was dust. This made the tray shiny in that area, so I stopped cleaning it. I suspect if I were to wash it it would lose its vintage texture and become shiny.

This is a tiny, cute tray. In theory. Since the description says they may vary slightly, I believe the person whose job it was to "age" this was overly enthusiastic; The process they used to "vintage" appears to severely scratch and rub the finish. So the tray part itself (instead of the scalloped edge mimicking real antiques) looks very cheap and too visibly weathered. Doesn't quite match the price they charge. Something tells me that if I order again, I'll get a better product. But again…
