Worked for 30 minutes. I changed the batteries and still nothing. To be honest I am tired of ordering damaged items from Amazon. Return the product.

We received this toy as a birthday present. Worked in demo mode. As soon as it was taken out of the case and turned "on" from demo mode, it stopped working! We changed the batteries and it stopped working on demo or on. This is a cute toy, but it literally worked for 0.05 seconds!

My daughter dreamed of this. Thought I'd try and buy this toy hoping to get a good one, although there were other bad reviews about it not working. EPIC FAILURE. It's very cute, big and so soft it makes very cute jungle sounds. What turned out to be a great toy ended in failure. It ONLY stopped working after 3 minutes of my daughter playing with it carefully. :( This could be awesome. Add it to your toy list. DON'T BUY FOR VACATION. PIECE OF SHIT.

Perfect for my dinosaur loving little girl! Don't pay attention to negative reviews! When the switch is toggled from "demo" to "enabled," he only wakes up when you press the tip of his tongue (with or without the chuck on). It takes a little practice to figure out exactly where the trigger is, but it works well. It was the perfect birthday present for our daughter who lives and breathes dinosaurs but also loves dolls and all. cute!

I have not confirmed the purchase because I bought it elsewhere. I came to Revain after mine didn't work. I called Hasbro and found out what was going on. If you disconnect it from DEMO mode, set it to "ON" mode. Then put a cookie or broccoli on his tongue! The motion sensor can only be used in the DEMO version. As other reviewers have noted, the Munchin' Rex isn't broken and doesn't need new batteries. When it exits demo mode, you have to click on its tongue to activate/turn it on. Figuring out exactly where to push his tongue may take a little practice (and a little patience if your little one can't do it on his own). This is the cutest little dinosaur. It's very soft and my boys love it. As they say, I see the truth in all of these reviews. When switching from DEMO to ON, the test stand goes into sleep mode. He won't wake up if you don't hit his tongue in the right place. Treats don't wake him from sleep, just a touch on the tip of his tongue.
