May take some time to unlock the Ford latch. I felt for the release pin at the top of the latch, put it on with a box wrench and pulled up to disengage the latch. It wasn't easy, I needed several attempts. The problem is that you can't see backwards, so you have to feel it.

No instructions provided but it was easy to install just by looking at the picture. Use a T-30 ratchet to remove/replace 2 bolts (be careful not to drop them into the seat back!). The only issue I had was that the diameter of the pilot hole in the aluminum latch release device was too small to fit around the rear seat latch pin (the mounting hole was 1/4" in diameter and mine was 9/32 inches). 2019 Lariat CrewCab. I have no problems with the product. It was well made with an anodized aluminum "hook", powder coated plate and large drawstring. I've read on various forums about installing this type of product on the driver's back seat of an F150 Super Crew (I have a 2020). I found this one which seemed more reasonably priced than others for the same product. Materials seemed good, all metal parts, good webbing etc. As mentioned, no instructions are included.
