Description of Fuzzy Pixie Corrugated Cardboard Cat House & Scratcher: The Perfect Indoor Hideaway for Small Cats with Hammock, Cubes, and Scratching Pad, Complete with Catnip - Ideal Kitten Supplies and Birthday Gift

TWO-IN-ONE: We combine cat’s most favorite things: cardboard box and scratcher - a private hideaway for cats to chill, play and scratch. Easy assembly without tools. Collapses flat when not in use for easy storage & travel. ENCOURAGE SCRATCHING: Use organic catnip (included) to introduce your cat to the cardboard house, and entice them to scratch. Good for promoting kittens' paw health, and keeping them off of furniture. TWO TIER: Leave the roof uninstalled if cats prefer an open space; install to create a private den & an elevated perch. Ideal for cats that love being on top of things; double the chances of them utilizing the cat house. STYLISH&STURDY: Wood texture printing - a stylish, neutral color that would compliment any home décor. Strong, sturdy corrugared cardboard construction supported with 4 wood sticks. Cat cube measures 13.4"W x 13.4"L x 13"H & weights 2Ibs when installed. One wide opening (entry door): 8.3"W x 7.7"H & 3 viewing holes - help with air circulation. Scratching pad: 13"W*13"L.

On the sticky side.

Bad Boys LOVE cardboard boxes, scratching posts and all that. The biggest one weighs about 10 pounds, but I don't know how well the top level of this house will hold them; time will have to tell. This product is quite thin so I have my doubts.

Pros
  • Scratching Posts and Apartments
Cons
  • Secret

Roof is questionable and flimsy

The roof is not cardboard and is a little awkward to put on as it comes with zip ties and there is room for the roof to attach a zip tie to the top but there is another Room to tuck the roof through the top of the walls held up by two wooden sticks, but it seems pretty flimsy. Too thin for a normal sized cat to sit on without breaking.

Pros
  • Pet supplies
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Very beautiful. The cats love it! Not easy to build.

I really liked the finished product. I have 2 little Persian cats and one of them named Babki on the cat house before, during and after assembly. easiest to build. The instructions were not very intuitive. I like that the instructions were printed on the box/packaging, just wish they were easier to understand. Speaking of the instructions, I chose NOT to cut the zip ties at the top as it added to the spectacle. Overall we (me and the kittens) really liked the end product. However, I'm not sure…

Nice and clever idea, but small and not particularly reliable

What cat doesn't love to jump into boxes and snuggle up in them? That's the logic behind this cat sanctuary, and it's perfectly legal. This cat house looks like a box because it is, but it looks way better than shipping boxes. However, there are a few caveats. First, it's rather small. My cats aren't particularly big, but this was assembled and sat for about a week, and none of my four cats did anything but sniff and walk on it. Also, the "hammock" is pretty flimsy on top - I can't even imagine

Pros
  • Cat Houses and Apartments
Cons
  • Communication with seller
