This remote was needed to replace a missing Sanyo TV remote that we were using. The remote control was absolutely correct and was received quickly.

All I had to do with this remote control when I got it was put in batteries! It worked great with my Sanyo TV and didn't require any additional software or anything. Definitely recommended for Sanyo TV.

Good buy. The original remote control no longer worked. I bought a universal one, but it was difficult to sync. Stumbled across this and was thrilled that I just had to put in the batteries and it worked with the TV straight away. Excellent goods.

Hopefully my other review will never be published. I dismissed this seller for sending me a dead remote because it didn't work on the TV and I didn't see the light come on despite changing the battery. I didn't know that IR light is invisible to the naked eye, but if you remove the remote you can see it. This remote works and I must have a bad receiver on my TV.

I have a family member who hates universal remotes and wants separate controllers for everything. When the TV remote gave up the ghost, I looked for an acceptable replacement. It looks just like the old remote, worked great right out of the box and has held up well over the time we've used it. Product as advertised, I am satisfied.

The original with the TV lasted about a year. This seems more fragile (a few weeks) but still works. I currently consider it a rental unit - a new one about once a year. Still easier than using the buttons on the TV. Does everything the original can that the universal remote I have doesn't. At least for now. (Sanyo FW40D36F TV.)

Must replace the one that came with the TV. The on/off button stopped working. I put batteries in these and all is well. The only gripe is that the buttons are stiffer than the original and I have to press harder to get results. I have severe arthritis in my hands and wrists, so yes, a small thing for others makes a big difference for me. I recently installed a Firestick which now turns the TV on and off and changes channels using the original remote. I keep this on the shelf as a backup.
