G Shock GA 100BW 1A White Black Luxury Review

This is my second G-Shock watch, it's a very cool watch, very good quality and comfortable, looks great. I took off a star because I don't like the light it has on the face. It's on the underside of the face and its yellow color doesn't seem to light up the whole face like it should either, they might have some sort of LED light like in my last G-Shock I bought. It's great for dates and slightly whimsical outfits while still exuding a masculine G-Shock look.

Great watch, I like its features, multiple alarms and stopwatch are great. It is very comfortable and can withstand the wear and tear of work. The only criticism is the same one I've seen in almost every other review. The digital display is not illuminated by the backlight, without the backlight the digital part is not visible. But since this is rarely a problem for me, it's not a very big problem. Overall, for a budget G-Shock watch, I would say it's worth the money.

I bought this watch because I had two other G shocks, very durable and comfortable to wear. I liked the colors of it but when I received it I could see the digital time clearly, it's so dark and not bright enough that it's difficult to set. And you need a magnifying glass to read the instruction manual. What good is a watch if it only looks good and you can't see the digital time in direct sunlight. I will return this one. I can't believe Casio didn't see that as a problem.

The display of this watch is horribly made. Looks great on a product image, but in real life it's terribly difficult to read. The digital display - white on black - is poorly lit and only visible in direct light. The analogue display - black hour and minute hands - merges with the black digital display. background and therefore difficult to see when the arrows are above the digital display. If you need a clear and easy to read clock, this product is NOT for you.

I love G-Shocks! Was sold and dispatched by Revain so it is genuine and I was convinced when I received it in the post. Nice watch. No problems with the battery or anything else! The only reason I took off a star is because of the crappy backlight on this watch. The entire GA100 series has only one LED that illuminates the dial. LCD panels don't light up, that sucks. The backlight does a good job of illuminating hands in low light, but it could be greatly improved. After all, this is 2018…

Nice watch, a bit big so if you have a small wrist like me you might feel like a kid lol. I don't read at all in the evenings. During the day, digital numbers are small and difficult to read. Does not show you the date and time at the same time. You must press forward to see the date and then again to see the time. So don't buy this watch for the digital factor because it doesn't exist. This watch would be better if I didn't have to reset it every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I bought this watch because I'm on a rollout and my fitbit doesn't update well from overseas lol anyway the hardware we use on board the ship is causing my watch to reset which is awful, when I walk and I keep track of the time. First of all I'd like to say that this is the second G-Shock I've brought with me. As someone currently in the military and used to being in the field, this watch along with the others I've brought with me just made an impression on me. Beautifully designed, yet very sturdy and durable, this is a sensational device with useful functionality at the same time. I dropped it in mud, crossed a river and used it to track my run times.
