DON'T THROW: Lightbulbs

I thought these were lightbulbs that bounce. Boy was I wrong. I thought the first one I picked up just wasn't bouncy so I tried again. And again. After a few more times, I looked at the box again. I thought maybe the box was wrong so I tried throwing another one. I looked at the product description on Revain and sure enough, these are just old lightbulbs. I'm so stupid. The bulbs I didn't break work fine, and the ones I did break will probably work too.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unreliable

Absolute rubbish; Potential Fire Hazard

Of the 4 lamps I attempted to install, 3 had the base detached from the lamp. I had to carefully pry her out of the socket with needle nose pliers without electrocuting her. Completely unacceptable. The only bulb that wouldn't unscrew I removed and didn't use because I didn't want those crappy bulbs to burn the house down. The seller/supplier of these lamps was OCS Parts of Issaquah, Washington. Needless to say, DO NOT buy.

Pros
  • Surprising
Cons
  • Some Errors

Works as expected, good for bulbs

As the other review is about the supplier and not the bulbs I decided to give my review. Each bulb comes in its own little box and then all 10 were packed tightly in a large box filled with lots of peanuts which I thought was fine but if the box was dropped or thrown away it still was don't have values, and chances are good that at least one or more of the bulbs will go bad. If anyone has ever been to a UPS or FedEx warehouse they know that packages are NOT always handled with care or fall offโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
