Shock absorber Gabriel 77638 max control.

The Gabriel damper fits perfectly and the car runs smooth now. I am very satisfied with the product and will continue to use it.

Max crappy good for shock absorbers

Purchased from AutoZone for my 1994 Suburban K1500, first set failed in less than 30k, warranty replacement took 8k, AutoZone no longer drives Gabriel, Gabriel doesn't honor warranty, go to KYB

Pros
  • Powertrain products
Cons
  • Something else

Gabriel has a magic formula / SIMPLY WONDERFUL!

Installed on 2019 GMC Savana/Explorer Van Conversion (Long Wheelbase). Super-premium shocks were already installed, which was a big improvement over the stock Delcos. The ride was very "controlled" but not very flat (front to back). I've installed them in the back and a 77638 in the front and the ride is so good it's literally a 100% different van. Nothing warps on any surface, but at the same time ideal cushioning. I see bumps and ruts, but the ride remains soft. I could commend a few…

Pros
  • Shock Absorber
Cons
  • Expensive
