Overall this case feels solid and the magnet is strong enough. I usually have two cards and some cash, and I see no difficulty in keeping my suitcase closed. Because the magnet sticks out on the side, it's difficult to put in a pocket unless the magnet engages the pocket hole. Because of this, you have to keep stuffing magnets in your pocket all the time.

I like everything about this case. I have had several cases since I bought my Note 9. One case was too bulky making the phone look bigger than I wanted. The other case was thin, I sent both cases back. I searched for Revane for 45 minutes before taking the plunge. I hit a home run, I recommend this case, I would buy it again.

Fits my Note 9 with no problems. I've dropped my phone several times since receiving it and the screen hasn't been damaged. I had to cut some of my certification cards to fit the card holders, but they ended up fitting. I don't like the rivet on the front. Update - a small leather pouch with a magnet closure opened and fell out. I found it and sealed the bag with super glue. Seems fast enough to fall apart.

I used to have a briefcase for note 9 but over time it's worn out, everyone says they're real leather but you know that they are not - when they fall apart. This case is great. I bought a magnetic phone mount for my dashboard to use with my phone and case. I lifted the material that is above the first card slot on the back and slid a metal plate under the material. The rest of the disk is in the first card slot. This works well because my business cards now fit snugly in the plate sleeve. I don't keep credit cards or anything like that on my phone, I always carry my wallet. Good case, there are three card slots and a compartment for money. The money slot is not wide enough for unrolled bills. I have a few cards, if you put more than four cards in here it interferes with the shutter. Not perfect but worth it, I just cut what I carry with me. If you're a person with a packed wallet, don't expect to pack it. The fit and finish appear to be good, although the 'skin' is a bit thin I suspect I'll be ripping the edges of one of the card slots in the not too distant…
