Never had a belt like this and wanted to try it. I've never tried a ratchet and wasn't sure if it would suit me. Not correct!. I like the extra length so I can adjust it to the right size. I like to wear the belt tight and wasn't sure how it would work for me. Well this works great. You thread the strap through the buckle and it holds. I love it so I bought another one. I would recommend this belt to any man, especially those struggling to find the right size. Great belt.

Great buckle. Intuitively you want to lift the buckle to release the strap. This buckle does just that. I have another ratchet strap and it has a button. Sometimes I try unsuccessfully to lift this buckle and then I remember the button. The belt is not as wide as my other belts so be sure to check the belt width before purchasing. I should have bought this product many years ago. This is an attractive belt with a fantastic attachment system. I guess as I get older and rounder I get annoyed that my pants keep hanging down even after the usual belt is tightened. Regular straps only lengthen the strap holes and cause the leather to tear. This system appears to be 1000 times better in this regard. Maybe I'll see more of these belts in different colors in the near future.

I have tried ratchet straps from 4 different brands (both more expensive and less expensive) and this style is far superior to all others. It was easy to adjust to my waist. The locking and unlocking mechanisms are very convenient and easy to use. They even undergo an emergency test in the toilet. Fits great and is the most comfortable strap I have ever warned about. Just for reference, I am a 270 pound male with a 46 inch waist.
