Terrible Consistency: Avoid at All Costs

According to my experience, this paint has the worst consistency I have ever seen. It was incredibly thin and watery, and required multiple coats to achieve any sort of decent opacity. The color wasn't even worth the effort. .

Pros
  • none
Cons
  • bad consistency.

Vibrant Hue for Stunning Results

Through trial and error, i found that this blue hue is absolutely stunning when used in my paintings. The pigment is rich and vibrant providing a mesmerizing depth that makes my artwork pop. The versatility of this product allows for it to be used in so many ways. However, I did find that applying it too liberally can lead to an overpowering effect..

Pros
  • Intense and vibrant color
Cons
  • Requires careful handling and clean up due to its staining characteristics

Gamblin 1980's Biggest Secret

Strong pigment, heavy creamy consistency, great color saturation, perfect and precise drying. No surprises. If you use Bob Ross colors and are looking for an alternative then this is what you need. Same body as Ross colors but better manufacturing, better consistency and quality control, and a wider range of colors.

Pros
  • Replaces Gamblin Artist Sketch Oils
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
