VOYEE PC Controller Review: Compatible with Gamecube & Windows 7/8/10 (Black) Review

It's great, it connects immediately after a quick driver installation and matching in the emulator boom when playing GameCube games

WARNING: After I wrote that one star review, the manufacturer continued to harass me. Somehow they got my personal cell phone number and keep texting me demanding that I remove my one star review. I will not do it. First Review: Controller arrived broken, C-Stick not working or not registering movement on Dolphin.

I bought this controller to play games on my computer via emulators and it works as expected. Configuration is a bit tricky (you have to go through the software settings and manually assign each button) as the controller behaves like a regular Windows GamePad. The controller feels good and did everything I expected. The purple Z button is very clicky and annoying to use. You may not like games that require you to press a button if the audio bothers you without headphones.

I need a GameCube controller because I wanted to return to one of my favorite GC RPGs, Tales Of Symphonia, using the Dolphin emulator. After reading the reviews of several controller models, including this one, I was concerned that I might end up malfunctioning, but luckily this one is working well so far. Windows 10 installed the driver for me right after connecting the controller and then I configured the buttons in the settings of the Dolphin controller. After that it worked fine in my game.

I received the USB controller a few days ago and I have almost nothing bad to say about it. It feels solid and is made from decent materials, and I didn't notice it flexing. All controls work well and are responsive, although the Z button doesn't seem to press as hard as I remember on the original controller. Bad: When I first opened the package I checked all the buttons, they all clicked fine... except for the right trigger which was stuck and the Z button didn't move at all. I started loosening the screws on the side that solved the problems (for now). This product certainly looks like a normal Gamecube controller, looks like the original and is made of good plastic, but it lacks some things that make the GC controller compare to its predecessor N64 have made really innovative . As far as I can tell, there aren't any real motors in the handles to create the rumble; This isn't really a problem for many games, as rumble was primarily used for damage and didn't make much of a difference in gameplay without it.
