Works very well I am very happy with this purchase. I've bought other cheap converters before and they were junk and the firestick didn't work well with them, but this one works amazing. With converter and power cord, but no plug. I'm not sure what it should be, but I have a lot of extra stuff and I used one of those.

It does what it is advertised to do. It converts HDMI to L/R Audio & Video. However, the small instructions lack steps. 1) Connect the A/V cables. 2) Connect power. Pay attention to the colored stripes. 3) Connect the HDMI cable. If the HDMI cable is not connected last, the device will not convert the signal and the A/V signal will not be played. I think the power then HDMI sequence is key.

I bought this to use with my Android TV when traveling to places that don't have HDMI or an old TV. I tested it on my Samsung 720P TV with HDMI and again with a converter. I was very happy with the results. The quality loss is very small. Keep in mind that this will convert HDMI to RCA. RCA will not convert to HDMI. For the price unbeatable! I highly recommend this product.

I used this product to connect Firesticks to an old TV. They worked great and you didn't sacrifice too much image quality. Once started, if you adjust your TV's display settings, you can improve it significantly. I wasn't expecting anyone to have sweat dripping down their foreheads so I'm not dissatisfied lol.
