Not very easy stapler to use

Agree with other comments on this stapler. I had a previous model and while it was difficult to draw, this model fired a staple every time the threshold was hit. This construction stapler goes with you everywhere. The only time I've been able to do it relatively consistently is hold the grip all the way forward. Even then it worked 80%/20%/didn't work. Forget about it once you've been holding the end of the handle for maximum leverage.

Pros
  • This cable stapler Secures 120v and low voltage Romex coax and Cat 5 cables
Cons
  • Available in white only

Overview MSG - 501

Punching out insulated staples with a stapler is better than a hammer and staples "hands down". However, my team (both 20-year-olds and old-timers) disagree on how much force it takes to move a gun to fire the magazine. I understand its small size was made to get into those hard to reach places but the downside is you lose leverage and in most cases a double grip is required to fire the shackle. With all the "powerful products" out there, I'm surprised no one has come up with a lead screw to…

Pros
  • From the same tool Comfortable grip zones for two-handed work
Cons
  • So far so good

Along with the braces that came with it, it did a fantastic job. It takes a bit of getting used to as you need to push really hard and have the right leverage for the final actuation of the piston or mechanism that actually adjusts the brace. Very easy to grab and use. Staples are easy to load. If…
