🏃 Garmin Forerunner 10 Replacement Band - Green, Small (010-11251-19) Review

My old Garmin from my Garmin graveyard was revived and made like new. But I wish Garmin straps were as durable as their watches. This isn't the first case of premature death from a poorly designed group. Fortunately, this was corrected with plastic surgery.

We bought the black replacement belts first and they snapped within a month. I was hoping the green would last longer. They didn't. These suck. Too bad I can't find a good replacement strap because the watch itself still works great but is now unusable.

I really like this watch. I accidentally broke the band so I bought this replacement band. After wearing it twice, the headband broke off and the small piece inside that holds it to the strap also broke off. I had it for two days. I don't like its durability for the price I paid.

My band gave up and it was the perfect replacement. Unfortunately, a few weeks after replacing the strap, the watch broke on the mounts that the stylus passed through. I don't think they got any looser when I switched bands. The group is beautiful and sits well.

For the past few years I have been running 48 weeks a year 6 days a week (when not injured). When I'm not running, I wear a watch during the day. I tried 2 straps (the one that came with the watch and this one). My first belt lasted 2 years and this belt lasted me 2 years 9 months and just snapped last week. So it lasts a long time, very durable!

This bracelet was purchased on September 8th, 2018 and broke on January 23rd, 2019. My original strap lasted many years. I am very disappointed in this purchase. UPDATE: Emailed to Garmin on January 24th. Purchase information requested. I have on 25.01. I received my new free group on January 30th. Very happy with their customer service. These strands now last three to four weeks on average. Now I'm ordering several of these so I don't get caught without a watch strap. I replaced my current bracelet which broke today July 3rd. Not even three weeks have passed. Luckily I ordered some pink straps that day to replace the broken one today. And take your running watch in the morning. I tried ordering them from another company but they didn't fit. Garmin has a monopoly on it.
