I really loved my Garmin watch for what I used it for! The app is easy to use and I would sync it with MyFitnessPal to keep track of health and calories. I've showered and swam with it and it was great! For most of my workouts, my average heart rate was very low compared to the training program. Heart rate monitor on exercise equipment in the gym. I ordered one for myself and one for my wife as I knew they were refurbished, one had a significantly darker screen and the other was quite good. Ordered a replacement, sent the next day with a return label, the second batch was better although one had a small connection issue so it was replaced and now we have two perfect ones. Update: Aside from not being able to stay connected to my phone via bluetooth, it's really struggling to get an accurate heart rate during exercise. Again, my previous Garmin vivofit and vivosmart did an excellent job with both, so I'm not sure if that model was sent or just that particular model. I think I might try returning it for another.
