I had a Vivosmart HR watch (previous generation of this watch). The strap broke a second time and the face was too scratched to continue reading (I've had it for about 3 years). I bought it because it's small, new generation (but still not in production), and affordable (under $100). I've had it for a few months now and I like that it fits a lot better than the HR - it's a lot smaller and has a lower profile. It's got a few scratches, but since there's no glass on the front like in previous models, it's not distracting to look at. I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 because the HR had the best battery life. 3 lasts about 4-5 days (my heart rate lasted about 6-7) even though I turned off many features. I'm guessing this gives me more steps than it actually is, but hey! It makes me feel better! It works well in the pool (5 days a week). One thing I noticed is that I have to keep my phone's app active (in the background) if I want it to vibrate with messages. Also, "Battery Saver" on my phone also turns off vibration notifications on the watch. In general I like it. I work well for myself.
