🌲 Fenix Outdoor Watch Garmin Wrist Strap Kit Review

This product is a must have if you have a Garmin Fenix Gen 1 watch for 6 months. This product is made of the same material as the seat belt and is very durable. Included in the kit itself are tools and extra screws that will come in handy.

I liked this elastic, but it has two drawbacks. It is all the more serious that the fluffy part of the Velcro has come loose from the mesh and is no longer holding up. The strap also covers the back of the watch, making charging difficult. I would not buy this product again. Hopefully Garmin has updated this product since I bought it two years ago.

Has performed well on my wrist so far, I got this to replace the factory black silicone strap that came with my Garmin Tactix which eventually broke after two years of use. These are very comfortable and of high quality, they are a good alternative to the rubber/silicone straps that come with the watch. Has held up very well and expected it to last quite a long time.

Much better than the strap that comes with the Fenix or Tactix. Faster to attach and can be used with an extender on the outside of your raincoat or winter coat. If I don't want to wear it on my wrist or hand I also use Garmin's carabiner strap which is also a very good product. But when I have to put it on my wrist/hand I never use the strap that came with my Tactix.

Not suitable for Fenix 3. The strap fits but the screws don't. You will also not be able to open Fenix 3 bolts with this tool. It's a whole different size. The strap feels too bulky but doesn't offer the security that a genuine Zulu/Nato strap offers - if you lose a 'shank' you lose your watch. The plastic/nylon ring looks lousy.
