Firefly Allstar Keychain Compatible Better Review

Lost one star because it was so difficult to open to get to the switches/battery. I removed the screw holding the two sides together, but I was really struggling to undo it. I don't know what the problem was, but I ended up prying it apart with a tiny screwdriver, resulting in a small nick in the plastic case. Otherwise it works great.

I followed the instructions to open the device and activate the battery. And if you open it and manually press the button - it works. But as soon as you close the case and screw it in, it stops working. I've added a few notes as suggested by other customers but nothing seems to help. If I don't like it, I would send it back.

Works great, easy to program and runs nearly 300 feet unimpeded from front door to bottom of driveway. I also bought an Allstar 9931 that didn't work at all and their support team refused to help when I contacted them. Definitely take them with you, you won't be disappointed! Not that it really matters either, but they came in black instead of brown in the photo, which actually looks better. I have an MM600 Estate opener.

318MHz transmitter with DIP switch. Worked great for my 318mhz gate opener. Just no way 318 MXZOK, the second review. I have bought more Firefly bottle openers. The new ones work just as well as the old ones. They have a different shape and color than the ones shown. New black. The only issue I've had and not sure if it's an issue is that one unit had a very low range. Like I have to be within 5 feet for it to work. I took out the 12v battery and there is 10v. As instructed, I opened the remote and flipped 9 micro switches that matched my Allstar 9931R on the garage door. The numbering on the DIP switches was so SMALL that I read them upside down on the first try. (I even wore glasses!) When the remote didn't work, I checked the switches again and found my mistake. I bought this knife because of its small size - it fits easily in my pocket when I ride my bike. It works really well for opening the gate when I'm in the garage, although that's not exactly why people buy a garage door opener! Fits Mighty Mule Gate Opener. I saw this opener mentioned that it would work with Mighty Mule so I bought it because it's about half the price of the Mighty Mule Opener. I bought this for an Allister Type IIA garage door opener. Before purchasing I confirmed that my normally closed receiver has (9) 3-position dip switches, so it should work with that switch. I used this with my GTO/Mighty Mule Tor. I put it on a leash so it's easier for me to come and go when I'm walking my dog. I would like to give this product 5 stars - it works really well and is half the price of the GTO brand remote. But.
