Review on Firefly Allstar Keychain Compatible Better by Jeff Pettis

I bought this for an Allister Type IIA garage door opener. Before purchasing I confirmed that my normally closed receiver has (9) 3-position dip switches, so it should work with that switch. After receiving the remote, I removed the receiver and arranged the remote's DIP switches to match those on the opener. I reinstalled the receiver and tried the remote control. NOTHING Removed receiver and checked DIP switches. Remote control reinstalled and held to the right of the receiver. Another reviewer mentioned that the included battery was weak. I checked the voltage and got about 12.3v but replaced the battery with a brand new Energizer battery anyway and got the same results. It works when you put the remote on the receiver, but it doesn't even work at 6 inches away. This remote control is useless to me. the phone number on Revain for "Pro-Xpress" does not work. I've tried calling to see if I can get more help, but the result is an automated message saying voicemail isn't set up yet.
