Terrible Hose - Do Not Buy

As a result of using this product, I found that it was poorly made and did not last long. It was difficult to install and did not fit properly .It leaked frequently and caused my automotive engine to overheat. The only positive thing was that it was relatively cheap. Overall, I would not recommend this product as it resulted in more damage and issues for my car..

Pros
  • Flexible and durable construction for long-lasting use.
Cons
  • Prone to cracking or splitting under extreme temperatures or pressure.

Great replacement for heater hoses

Typical quality hose from Gates. Used to form a firewall hose under the heater valve to bypass the rear heater on Land Cruiser FZJ80. This # also leaves an excess on the long end that can be used for the straight hose needed for the bypass that runs from the firewall to the front of the engine. Two for the price of one special!

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • New competitors emerged
