🔧 Gates 31561 Radiator Cap - Enhancing Standard Performance Review

The truck keeps cooking. I googled it and it says I can't take the pressure. I exchanged it for one from the dealer and now everything is ok.

Radiator cap worked great I was doubtful at first but replaced my old one and no leaks for about 2 months, let's see how long it lasts.

Visiting the Gates website, the original Infiniti QX80 part number for the radiator cap is checked against this model number. It fits the ad. Just a note: although it is sold and packaged as a Gates product, it is actually made by Motorad.

I bought this Gates/Motorad radiator cap because of the brand's high quality and competitive price. It fits my wife's 2012 Nissan Frontier V-6 4-door perfectly. As long as it doesn't leak, it holds pressure very well. Appears to be well built. The lid says Motorad but it was packed in a factory Gates box. This cap was made in Israel.

Fits my Nissan Xterra 08 radiator. I had an issue where a small amount of coolant was evaporating and I found that this was due to my factory header tank cap losing some of its spring over the years . The cap is factory set at 14psi if the cap does not hold pressure as intended until the boiling point of the coolant drops and you lose some to evaporation.
