It is what it is. And that's good.

Purpose: Mount 2 mics on a mic stand. So the item itself is perfect, well made and $13 is a fair price. If you buy one of these you'll have to give more thought to how two heavy mics will balance on a stand without tipping over. I just use a sandbag. Although this unit is firmly mounted to the mic stand mount, if one mic is heavier than the other, if the set screw is slightly worn or out of order (which I have found) then gravity can rotate the entire mount so you may have to do this Play…

Pros
  • Dual Mic Stand Mounts up to (2) evenly spaced 5/8"-27 male mics
Cons
  • High Price

I love this thing! Even cut out some noise (don't know why)

Love this adapter. I can use it for different applications. It's really well built and fits my barbell. What I find odd is that my mic, which appears to have a grounding issue or something, makes a slight audible hum, especially when I touch it. However, I connected it to the DBX286 using a balanced XLR cable. All my audio is hooked up to a Furman power conditioner. However, when I plug this mic into this adapter for some weird reason, that hum almost goes away. This adapter is not for that…

Pros
  • Fits any standard 5/8"-27 female mic stand
