Review on Gator Frameworks Standard Microphone GFWMIC1TO2 by Adam Gambel

Love this adapter. I can use it for different applications. It's really well built and fits my barbell. What I find odd is that my mic, which appears to have a grounding issue or something, makes a slight audible hum, especially when I touch it. However, I connected it to the DBX286 using a balanced XLR cable. All my audio is hooked up to a Furman power conditioner. However, when I plug this mic into this adapter for some weird reason, that hum almost goes away. This adapter is not for that, but it is very strange. So even if I use this mic solo, I have it on this adapter. Who would have thought? The design of this adapter is very durable. He's almost massive. I have it on a boom I once bought with a $35 mic kit. The adapter with the mics I use works well enough with this cheap tripod, but I wouldn't put the Blue Yeti on it, at least not with any other mic. I suppose if I had a better arrow everything would be fine.
