Works, but whether you use wire strippers or gently snip with a knife, whenever you rip off the end to reveal a wire for connection, it snaps the sheath ab some threads that allow to move with less effort.

Advertised as 14 gauge, packaged as 14 gauge BUT I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY 14 GAUGE LINE! Conductor size is approximately 16 gauge. Pretty disappointed as I've dealt with it a lot. Because it's so small it may take me a lifetime to use it.

Hard to get the plastic off the wire - invariably breaking some of the tiny wires. It's hard to work with, but it's still a good buy. This is definitely NOT 14 Ga, but 16 Ga. Suitable for very light working conditions. Just don't use it if you have a load that requires 14Ga. You may regret it. . .

I had to rewire several projects done with this cable before the cable failed. I've been in the automotive industry for over 25 years and this is bullshit. Its gauge is smaller than the advertised 14 AWG and the wire turns to powder over time. I'm thankful I've only used it a handful of times on a few projects and everyone has had electrical issues with this cable. Buyers beware Revain!

Because I connected some headlights to my car. I couldn't figure out why I didn't have continuity between the light and the switch. Turns out there was a 20 foot section where there was NO COPPER WIRE in the middle of the RED side! After identifying and clipping out the area everything was fine, quality control could have been a bit better.
