Good fans for the money

Only bought these to replace the fans on my cooler that I take on the truck, they work great and my food is cold as it should be I can don't even hear it fans, i drive a bit when the truck engine is off, but that's ok when i hear that, i know the cooling hasn't improved yet, we'll see how long they last , I'll post an update when they do.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Bought to replace a noisy PSU fan.

My Antec PSU was noisy when turned on. After warming up (about 10 minutes) I can hit the PC case and the fan stops). This annoyed me after 1 year, so I ended up buying this PC fan (because it has the same dimensions) and replacing the original Antec fan. I had to cut the wires from the old one and cut this one. Now the trunk is quiet and I can't believe I waited over a year to replace the fan.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Anything I can add

Stopped working in less than 100 hours total

I installed two of these as fans. One is still running and the other stopped after less than 100 hours. I bought these fans in July 2018 because the description said they would last 35,000 hours. I use this device very seldom and estimate that it will run less than 100 hours in a year and three months. Maybe I should have bought fans with ball bearings instead of bushings.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Neutral

Reliable little fan that works

Bought to replace the fan in my wine fridge that died. Installation was easy and the holes matched everything. It's not that quiet but luckily it's in the fridge so I can't hear it when the door is closed. But if it were outside it would be quite noisy when running at full power. The fridge controls the speed of the fan and this fan has no problem slowing down or speeding up when prompted. Overall a good buy.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Frequency

Powerful, quiet fan on internal components

Mounts with rubber bands (to isolate vibration) in a Faraday cage around the Wi-Fi router to keep the router cool. The inlet side of the fan is not protected by the case, there is minimal protection at the outlet. A metal grille is supplied with the fasteners. There is some air movement noise, but the fan itself is very quiet and powerful enough. I cut off the plug and connected it to a 12V 2A adapter controlled by a digital thermostat.

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Empty

Works perfectly. So far - internals

I'm trying to experiment with this 80mm fan that fits perfectly in my 3" radon vent. my house but the ventilation is inherently passive and poorly ventilated. I could spend a few hundred dollars to add a powerful fan, but it's noisy and I wanted to try a simpler approach. I first bought a vent plug to use the air pressure to reduce outlet pressure and help with ventilation. Good for measuring radon levels in my home, the vent cap actually made things worse and is more restrictive than the…

Pros
  • Complete kit
Cons
  • Not as good as it says
