There are great bulbs at a great price. They give off a very natural colored light and are cool (except the base tends to get hot). Their shape makes them easy to install and use in many different devices. And at this price, they're essentially free because the savings on your energy bill will recoup them in a relatively short amount of time. It's hard to say how long their lifespan will be, but theoretically it should be many years since they're LED (we'll see if that turns out to be true)…
