💡 40W GE Ceiling Fan Bulb Review

Bought these bulbs for a ceiling fan. The previous 3 bulbs turned the room into a disco with flickering lights. I put these bulbs in and they still work great. The disco no longer exists.

The packaging of the product fell off and looked like it had been there for years. The lights were dim and poorly bolted. I thought they would get stuck; so i kicked them out.

These were household bulbs. I don't know if they would work or not. I ordered from another supplier and received ceiling fan bulbs that also didn't fit. The sockets are too small for ceiling fan lamps but too large for lamps with candelabra bases.

I bought these lamps thinking they would fit in my sister's kitchen ceiling fan. They didn't fit, but I'll keep them anyway in case they fit a bit. You'd think that a ceiling fan light would go with any ceiling fan, but apparently that's not the case. Still looking for the perfect lamp.

The bulbs I received did not match the pictures of my order but they were the same type and size. I wanted clear white pears. The ones I received are different from the photo and have a stronger blue cast. I use them because I needed to replace some burnt out lightbulbs and am happy with it.

Works well and seems to last a long time. My guess is that because they are used in ceiling fans where there is a lot of vibration they use a high performance filament and last longer than standard bulbs. Since these are incandescent bulbs, they also work well with dimmers. I'm glad I can still get them and not switch to LEDs.

I have purchased two packs of 4 x 40w bulbs from this seller. The packaging was not sealed. It was opened and it turned out that the bulbs had got into the packaging. NOT THE ONE THAT ARE ADVERTISED! So far only 2 out of the 5 bulbs used worked. Each bulb was intact but the filament inside was broken. That's cheating! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!
