Very good, the hob fits like a glove, no problems. I used transparent silicone sealant to attach it. I like it better than the Jenair Flat Top that came before because if one element fails you don't have to take the whole unit off to replace it. All you have to do is disable the overlay and add a new one in its place.

This is a solid product that looks good and performs as expected. It was easy to install, both of us did it in about 45 minutes with no problems. In the year. Read instructions for removing coils, etc. for cleaning. If you don't pull them out properly, you'll bend them, which is why some people say the coils are tilted or unstable. I had no idea how to remove them until I read the instructions. I haven't had any issues with unstable coils at all, so be sure to read the instructions on that.

I had the same almond oven although it is 19 years old. We renovated the kitchen and decided to make it out of stainless steel. I was expecting the same performance as the old one, but unfortunately each setting seems about four notches up. So, low power is very similar to medium power, and the only low power is the "1" setting. So if you do something that requires low temperature, you'd better be careful or you'll burn it. I hope it softens a bit with age.

I was a little wary after reading some not so good reviews of this hob but mine arrived in perfect condition. It sits perfectly flat on the countertop and requires no sealant or other material - not even a hint of a gap around it. The stainless steel is truly rustproof and very strong - as strong as the 20 year old cooktop this replaced.
