I'm having trouble finding a lightbulb that will work in my fan. It typically uses 40w incandescent bulbs and seems to have some circuitry (since it's dimmable) that won't supply power if the bulbs aren't drawing enough current. equivalent lumens of a 40W incandescent lamp. Most equivalent 40w LEDs only draw 4w and will not work in my fixture. They really work, I'm grateful for that. If you need a dimmable lamp, I recommend a different bulb. The front of the box says "Dimming power may vary," and it's clear why. You can see it on one of the product images. I wish I could see that before buying. When I turn the dimmer to the lowest setting these bulbs go out. Other bulbs that I have in the same lamp do not turn off. The lamp flickers at lower brightness settings and eventually works as I expected above half brightness. These bulbs hum a little louder than my other bulbs when
