Best Value in Incandescent Bulbs

This bulb is perfect for my sodium safety flashlight. The price was great compared to what I paid for the same bulb at local stores.

Fixed my problem with constantly changing lighting.

My old 70 watt lightbulb kept turning on and off. Replacing it with this GE fixed the problem. Let's hope it lasts longer than the 3 years I got from another non GE bulb. Too bad because the previous brand lasted 6 years when I bought it another time. This time I decided to try my luck at GE.

1 Missing Product Parts for Incandescent Lamps

I am not an electrician or contractor but the product description did not state that this lamp could not be used in a standard medium sized incandescent lamp socket without special ballast. This fact should be clarified. A good example would be to begin a product description with the words, "Do not use in a standard wall outlet; Special ballast required.

PERFECT GOOD BULB EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED!

Top quality, original GE, very bright and durable! Perfectly functional and reliable when used in the right outdoor security lights for which it was designed! Always ensure, especially when using a special attachment, that you have the exact base, shape, size and ballast as this not only may not work but could result in a fire or electric shock!

There was a problem with the on/off cycle; new bulb repaired and working well so far

My HPS bulb above the driveway was about 5 years old and the light started going on and off. I mistakenly assumed it was the ballast but after some research online I decided to buy a new bulb first. This lamp was well packaged and fixed the problem straight away. Obviously, after a few years, HPS lamps cause voltage problems, and to prevent burnout, the circuitry in the ballast automatically switches. One note: make sure you choose the right base and power. You can't mix and match wattages like
