💡 GE Lighting 66249 72W Medium Base Review

Beautiful and bright for the bathroom. LED bulbs are good, but sometimes they aren't bright enough. I had to force them to continue their futile work.

I wanted more light in the kitchen, so I put 100 watt daylight bulbs in the ceiling light. It turned out to be too bright. Those soft white bulbs give the brightness I wanted without any glare.

These are lightbulbs and they all work. Replaced our original kitchen island lights after we couldn't find the same bulbs. Can't handle that bright white light that's more readily available on hardware store shelves.

They work but the ones I have don't have 1490 lumens. My packaging says 1270 lumens. The photo shows GE 78798 lamps with 1490 lumens. The description says these are GE 66249 bulbs and they are, but these bulbs are only 1270 lumens.

Used the first bulb for a desk lamp in the office. As soon as I turned it on, it exploded. Filled out the goods return form and the return was $7. What a great deal, pay $7 for bulbs that don't work then pay $7 to send them back for a $7 refund. Still not $7 for some reason.

These are great lamps (my wife has vision problems and LEDs and CFLs don't work for her) but buying them online was a mistake. I only bought four packs because I wasn't sure they would arrive in perfect condition. Good, because it looks like only one light bulb arrived intact. I don't open bubble wrap to see if one that isn't crushed will work because I don't want to risk broken glass. Here we have a light bulb in the children's room. I attributed it to someone who did something they shouldn't have done and broke a lightbulb. They insisted they didn't break it.
