Save 31% electricity! Fast delivery! Good price!

Great upgrade for old fluorescent lights. When changing from T12 to T8, the energy saving is 31%. This seller strives to please. However, when I mistakenly ordered more parts than I needed through my fault, changed the order and ended up not needing everything delivered, he stated that he would immediately refund the difference. Parts came earlier than expected. They were exactly what I needed. After upgrading those old 4ft fluorescents with these new ballasts (and T8 bulbs (instead of T12)) I…

Brightest Ballast - Ballasts

I ran a pair of high CRI F32T8/950 lamps on this ballast; try to get the maximum power available. The GE data sheet states that this "3 or 2" ballast combination offers a ballast factor of 1.29 and a current rating of 0.65 amps. This is very close to what I measured on site. So we get 80+ watts from a pair of 32 watt light bulbs. compared to the measly 55 watts emitted by the lamp's original ballast. It's the sad new "normal" for these kinds of devices, isn't it? But with this H-rated "3 or 2"…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No output

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH F96T8 lights.

I ordered this because it was said to work with F98T8 bulbs - 8ft long; 2 lamps. F98T8 ballasts have the following wires: black (hot), white (neutral), 2 blue (one for each of the two lamp terminals) 1 red (common for the other end of the lamp terminals). No yellow wires and only ONE red wire. This ballast is designed for 4 inch lamps and is supplied with blue, red and yellow cables. It will not work in an 8ft 2in fixture. The outer plastic bag it came in had a sticker that said "F89T8…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
