It was great! . about 3 days. Stopped working after 3 days, thought hey well at least it's 2 packs! If I suspected the second one wouldn't work as it's been making jarring noises since it arrived. thats not good. Find another brand. The lamp is not mine - I have another lightbulb that works fine.

I wouldn't buy these if I had to do it again because they are WAY too bright! They are so bright that you have to put your hand to your eyes when they are on at night as if to protect your eyes from the sun. They are so bright I find them useless. I will not buy them again nor will I recommend them.

Don't waste your money on these lamps! One of the two bulbs in the box is defective (I checked both bulbs in the other cartridge). They were not delivered until March 16th and Revain is "passing" my complaint on to the problem solving department. I have bought this GE brand before and I will tell you the bulbs do NOT last seven years as stated on the packaging. I just want my money back so I can buy another brand.

I bought 3 packs of 2 bulbs (6 total) to use as a winter heat source in a small well pump room (120 cu ft) at our home in the Pocono Mountains. When setting up the system with a thermostat, I found that one bulb was not working and another had cracked - most likely short-lived. Seems to be good lamps, the 1st batch was purchased from the Amazon warehouse, the lamps inside were bubble wrapped whoever made it. I ordered another set as I was impressed with the brightness and while there was a solid bright focused beam of light they also had great secondary spread of light. These halogen bulbs are great. They shine very well, shine evenly and last a long time. When you receive them they look like used lightbulbs but they are not. This is how bases are made. Don't worry about the small cable detaching from the base. It's an electrical component and should be in place (don't unscrew - it screws in just fine). These bulbs work great with a digital timer.
