GE UltraPro 6 Outlet Protector Charging Review

You can't just put a GE sticker on a product and think that makes it a GE product. I bought this along with a few other items to save myself the frequent trips to Walmart but ended up with a DUPE. Just got this today and I like the wide spacing between the outputs so you can use it for bulky plug-ins. Just wanted to note that most reviews mention a center screw that goes into the exit hole to secure it. I should have looked more closely at the images and I would have noticed that the white output image has no center screw. But there is gray and black. They should have changed that at some point. This works particularly well with large electronic connectors. No longer supplied with a bolt however, so it is not possible to remove the existing exhaust plate and bolt this block in place. It fits on a plate, but doesn't sit snugly against the wall and wobbles a bit. Still way better than trying some other power strip adapters (unless your top outlet is controlled by a light switch). Great concept in a multi fork but with one serious flaw. In contrast to the model without overvoltage protection, this device is not equipped with a central screw so that you can securely attach the device to the socket outlet. Without them, you have to hold the device every time you unplug it as it also wants to be pulled out of the base unit. GE, add a center screw to attach the device to the base jack!
