This tent tire was purchased after a similar tire was used to repair another hiker's split tent pole. I carry a spare with me in hopes the spirits will clear to deter those who break the bars.As expected, the tire was delivered quickly by Revane.

Works well. I bought this to fix a tent pole that was very bent and about to break. I just put the tire on the bar and sealed the air duct on both sides. Was able to hike the very windy BLM section of Joshua Tree with no problems. I recommend it.

Works well for a tent that came with a broken aluminum DAC pole. The instructions recommend securing it with tape, but none is supplied, so it's a little pricey for a small aluminum tube with nothing to hold it in place.

I bought this as a spare part for field repairs. On our last night in our three man tent one of the poles broke. I fixed it in a jiffy overnight with tape and then bought a repair kit to replace the broken part. Now that I've replaced that section and bought that tire I hope I never have to do that again. . But when I do, it's wrapped in 3ft of duct tape and put in a tent bag, ready to go.

My tent pole diameter is 1/2" at the widest point and I have 5/8" and it worked perfectly and tight and my tent held tight. The only thing was that it was almost too tight when I put it on and it was difficult to adjust when I put it on, but I taped it in place (just in case) and when it came time to take the tent down , I knew it would be difficult for me to remove, so I just left this pole sticking out of the pocket when setting up the tent. But no regrets! It's cheaper than buying new tent…
