Cools my Pi4 4GB with it. Initially, I had a case with passive cooling without a fan. Case with no internal fan, I stumbled across this case and it has everything I wanted. I absolutely do not regret the purchase. I hope you get this case too and keep your Pi4 cool.

Easy assembly. A little heat on the top radiator. Even when viewing Casablanca, the overheating indicator no longer appears. The device's fans have been running almost 24/7 since the beginning of December without any problems. They are silent. Overall, I give it four stars because of the instructions for connecting the fan. The picture is blurred at the connections. I ended up using pins 4 (5V) and 6 (ground).

It's actually just a few aluminum castings with smooth milled surfaces. It's really well done. Inside there are contact pads for the CPU and RAM as well as a power chip. Haven't tested the temps yet but the fit and finish is excellent. In addition, the fans are very quiet; they are almost inaudible at all. So far it's shaping up to be a great little event.

Every other case I've had was too light, every fan too loud, maybe not at first but over time. In this case, the machined aluminum is strong and heavy enough not to "fly" every time the wires and cables are pulled or pushed. In this case, there are two fans, and both were and are absolutely silent. This is the only case I will use.

You don't really need a lot of instructions but they help a lot with the cooling part, it's very simple and easy to assemble. The case is very solid and the design is metal that protrudes on the sides in a way that protects the pi IO pins from damage in most falls or bumps as it can hit the metal on the frame, preventing that things reach the pins if they aren't aimed right straight at contacts. With a 2GHz overclock, fans on and full boot, the Pi never exceeds 60°C with an ambient temperature of 22°C, well below 80°C throttle temperature. Right now I'm using it as a CHIA farm machine, which is overkill, but when I used it as a NAS with LUKS disk encryption, it was able to support a full 1Gbps transfer rate. Raspberry Pi4 Premium rugged case with fan. This is a great case for the Pi4 board and the board seems to retain its color with normal use. The entire case is effectively used as a heatsink, with the fan simply helping to draw extra cold air into the device. I never expected this case to be so well made at such a great price. I don't think you're wrong.

Instructions for connecting fans are WRONG! I worked two days to get the fans working - HOPELESS! While some other VICTIMS of this seller have tried to help me get them working, the seller or manufacturer doesn't care. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY! It is not the customer's job to make up for this company's poor attitude or incompetence. DO NOT BUY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!
