My boys LOVE them! They make a big difference in price. The wands withstand the wild magic game of two little boys. They use AD13 button cells. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for the young wizard in your life!

These wands pack a punch! Light (Lumos) and sound effects! All ages survive and everyone loves it. Plus, the icing on the cake was an inexpensive 2-pack. I ordered 3 packs so I could have one too!

The boy was quick to break one, but overall it was quite a magical gift while serving. The magic sound of pressing the button is pleasant and not annoying, but the light it emits is very strong, like a laser, and may hurt the baby's eyes, so be careful.

I bought six of these sets for our children and their cousins. They all love her! The noise is not disturbing, the light is excellent. This was my son's favorite birthday gift so I had to go back and buy more because the other kids were fighting over who could try it next. They love playing Harry Potter together.

I really liked these so glad I have two for the kids to play with, easy to lose so maybe more than two. Too bad they came with all working batteries! I have to buy batteries plus for them, like a Walgreens hose to carry them, which was a real problem when the wand ran out of batteries on the day of the Halloween parade.

I was the fairy godmother for Halloween and this wand with a light and magical whistle sound was so perfect! The kids were drawn to it and I spent the whole evening taking photos with mini princesses and fairies. I used it for two nights as it was my town's second Halloween for kids who missed the first due to an evacuation due to fires in Northern California. It's still going strong!

I bought this wand set to go with my fairy godmother costume. I bought a two piece set because I knew my little girl wanted it as soon as she saw it (she was dressed up as Cinderella). This is very good quality. The lights and sounds are just perfect and you can see the light very well in the dark. There is a button that needs to be pressed to turn on the light and sound. If you hold the button down the whole time, it will repeat itself over and over again. If you press the button once, the lights and sounds will work once.

My son destroys anything he touches in seconds. Literally everything. He can't approach anything without hurting or breaking him EXCEPT those sticks! I haven't even given him a second wand because the first one still works months later. I can not believe that. He uses it all the time; banging on the TV, the windows, his sister, his head, sticking it in his nose, stepping on it, throwing it across the house, hitting the wall, everything he shouldn't be doing, and yet this thing still makes that noise and shine, no cracks. Wonderful! Excellent value for money and quality.

We ordered these for our kids' Halloween costumes. They worked great apart from the magical sound effects they make every time they press a button to activate the light. We tried holding down the button to see if the sound would stop, but it didn't. It simply plays in a loop as long as the button is pressed. My husband ended up putting duct tape on the speaker at the base of the stick and that helped deaden the noise. In general they have worked well for their intended purpose. I would rate them a 5 if not for the noise. However, if you're just looking for a durable and glowing wand (and don't mind noise), it's worth it. I've been playing with them non-stop since Halloween and they still work just as well as the day we bought them.
