I used it for my aux plug on the passenger side. At first I accidentally ordered a cigarette lighter but once I found out I ordered this one. Revain said it wouldn't fit my Silverado 03, but I ordered it anyway. Worked perfectly.

My husband and I have an iphone and charging it on the go is a must. We found a great YouTube video that explains how to uninstall and test it. It was bad so I ordered it. Fast delivery and assembly made me very happy! Highly recommended! Looks and functions like the original.

One of my power plugs became intermittently disconnected. I removed this connector and tried soldering the tabs on the back for a better connection. There were still problems. Swapped plugs and no more problems. I just bought a used truck so maybe it was always patchy or maybe worn out. Anyway, it was an easy fix with this part.

This worked great to fix my broken passenger side 12v outlet on my 2016 Chevy Colorado. The hardest part is unplugging the old outlet after the plug and play installation is complete. Was hoping it was just a blown fuse but they were fine. Definitely cheaper and more convenient than going to the mechanic.

Fits old style hanger hole. I should warn you that the old one was the real $(#!&) to pull out. I only had to press two tabs with a pocket screwdriver to remove it, but I think the heat from the old lighter fused it tight. This has nothing to do with the new part, but I thought I should warn you about it.

Bought one of these and another from another vendor which included a removal tool (which was useless). The outlet that came with the tool was an aftermarket imitation and I spent a heck of a lot of time installing it. This one, a GM replacement, was easy to install and snapped straight into place. Spend a dollar or two more on a GM replacement. You will not regret it.

The auxiliary power supply on my 2011 Silverado recently stopped working. I checked all the fuses, all ok. After watching a short YouTube video, I found this replacement GM outlet and ordered it. Don't waste your money buying one of the small socket wrench tools, you can use the corners of two small flathead screwdrivers to get the job done nicely. Great purchase, easy installation, I recommend!

Not for Front Cigarette Lighter on GMC/Chevy/Cadillac Trucks. These are actually power plugs that are also used as sockets for phone chargers. and accessories located in the center console or in the rear passenger seat area. The cigarette lighter assembly is slightly different and will not fit due to the connection grooves. .You will also need a black plastic vessel piece to complete this task. In my truck, the front cigarette lighter plug to connect my phone charger failed, no power at all…
