Smooth and subtle watercolor pencils

As a result of using these pencils, I found that they create beautifully subtle and smooth watercolor effects .They blend together easily and the range of neutral colors allows for a wide variety of shading and highlighting. However the pencils may not be as opaque as some artists MAY prefer. Overall, a great addition to any artist's tool kit!

Pros
  • Rich, vibrant pigments that blend easily
Cons
  • Slightly more expensive than other watercolor pencil options on the market

Disappointing Watercolor Pencil Set

Using this product, our team found that the colors were not very pigmented and were difficult to blend. The few vibrant shades included were quickly used up and the rest were lackluster. However the packaging and labeling were clear and informative. Overall, we wouldn`t recommend this set for serious watercolor work..

Pros
  • High-quality watercolor pencils with a smooth texture that easily blends with water to create beautiful washes and gradients.
Cons
  • Requires some skill and experience to use effectively, as it can be difficult to control the amount of color released with water.

Great for watercolor outlines

They seem to absorb easily with water which is what I wanted. They initially have some sort of wax repellant, but quickly become water soluble. This is great for contouring, but if you want it to stay in place with any amount of water, it won't. Not bad overall, I like that I can paint and mix colors

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Large and voluminous
