I used a spacer to make a shower curtain and it worked very well. It was greatly appreciated. My only suggestion would be to make it clearer in the description how many brass spacers were already included in the kit as I unnecessarily bought a separate pack of them.

I had the same problem as the other reviewer - the stamp didn't cut through the fabric I was using. This left an imprint on the material which I cut with scissors so that part came in handy. In fact, connecting the sides of the grommet worked great and I used it to create a beautiful custom canopy for my kids' outdoor playset.

For a woman with average user experience, this device is easy to use. The matrix lost its shine after 8 uses, but I have sharpened it several times. I've mostly used it on tarps - it didn't cut all the way through. I had to use scissors to cut it out, which turned out to be an extra step. I have purchased more pads and continue to use this set. The matrix could use some improvement to keep it sharp.
