🖊️ Black Stylus Pen Pencil 1st Gen Replacement for Apple iPad Pro, iPad 6th & 7th, Mini 5th, Air 3rd Gen - iOS & Android Compatible Review

I have a 2016 iPad Pro. The stylus works to click on open menus and tabs, but doesn't write. This was the main feature I wanted in a pen and it was advertised as doing just that. I tried several apps and checked the settings but it wouldn't even stain.

The handle didn't work. There were no instructions on how to "pair" it with my iPad mini 5. I found the pairing information while reading about the Apple Pen on the Apple forums. Also, the need for a special cable to connect the stylus to the iPad was not mentioned when I ordered it. It would be nice if this information was available to buyers.

This is a good backup as my Apple stylus 1st etc. This product seems to stay paired with no problem. The downside is that the stylus doesn't work when your hand is on the screen, as you normally would when writing or editing a score. Maybe there's a setting I haven't found that fixes this. But for a fifth of the price of an Apple stylus, I'm glad I bought this item!

This third-party Apple Pencil replacement has limited functionality. My experience is using it with a 2016 iPad Pro. First off, the WirelessFinest Stylus Pencil does not support Bluetooth connectivity. It seems to work the same as if you draw with your finger. The tip of the pencil is metal and may scratch the iPad's glass screen. I've also found that it doesn't work with the SideCar option that's now available for pairing an iPad with a Mac.

I had an Apple Pencil that died after a year. Rather than give Apple another $100 for a device that got very mixed reviews, I decided to give this stylus a try. It came in nice packaging and arrived very quickly. It was fully charged so I could use it right away. Got this to try my hand at drawing and painting during the coronavirus lockdown. This desire to be an Ipencil is a big disappointment. As you can see the whole thing falls apart when disconnected from the charger. I have to reset it every time. It also makes a squeaky noise when I'm drawing or playing games, or when I'm dragging a pencil across the surface of my iPad. This is only good for typing. Also, it turns itself off after a minute. When using my original Apple Pencil, I didn't care about the scribble function. I actually turned it off because I found it annoying when using an Apple Pencil. My Apple Pencil died after about five years. The Scribble feature with the Apple Pencil came along with the iPad update to IOS 14 (something like that).
