I was looking for a genuine microfiber towel like the one I had previously purchased from Revain. I liked that it can be rolled very finely. For me, these towels are somewhere between a cheap terry towel and a microfiber towel. They look good, they feel good, but I need to be able to pack them in a small suitcase.

They are big and beautiful. Haven't used them yet (not sure about absorbency) but looks like they should do what they say. Generally, these are the beach towels that most people wrap themselves in after getting out of the water. These are not thick bath/hotel towels. So if you're looking for something thicker, this isn't for you. Microfiber might be an overstatement, but overall a decent towel.

I've never had a microfiber beach towel before so I don't know what I expected. The size is absolutely amazing! I would wrap myself in it once back on the boat and it would actually wick most of the water out of my bathing suit! I didn't really like using it to dry skin because it felt like the water was just splashing. But I dried out faster! Like I said, I've never owned microfiber towels!

First things first, these towels are cute and totally oversized. They dry quickly. Cons: They attract every tiny fuzz and hair within a 20 mile radius. They are only moderately absorbent. May I recommend it? It depends. Just looking for something that can wrap you around when you're not in the water? Then yes. Looking for something to dust and collect all the lint and hair? Then yes too. Are you looking for something that will dry you out quickly? Then no, I wouldn't.

I may be the only one arguing this but these towels are made from the cheap microfiber material found in 99 cent microfiber car towels. One that finds and latches on to every microscopic piece of skin on your hands and fingers. I have microfiber sheets as smooth as silk and microfiber towels as soft as velor, but these towels look like you're wiping your hands (I couldn't even get them right out of the box) with crimson sharkskin. .

My daughter was in the pool 2 times a day 5 days a week and our thick pool/beach towels took up the whole car several times a week. I was looking for lightweight extra large towels and found these. They are cool! Daughter loves them and is much easier to wash. I will never buy thick old towels from the past. I would have preferred a better price, but given their size and smaller footprint, it's worth it. I will update the review after several months of washing and drying. 5 stars so far!
