Authentic Fred PICKLED wine cork, green, 3.5 inches tall. This cucumber is cute. It is a hard silicone with a smooth band with no "bumps" to ensure a smooth seal. This increases the height of the wine bottle when you're storing it in the fridge, but it's quite a fun novelty. Does that keep the wine fresher than putting the cork back in? I haven't finished my bottle of wine yet! But it's easier to put it in temporarily and pull it out easily.

Bought for my sister who loves red wine and likes to joke about brine. Your whole family loved playing with this marinade. Fun! And bonus - it works as it should! My sister's wine is on the counter so I can't tell if this brine stopper is completely airtight, but she said the seal seems secure. A great gift for a hostess with a sense of humor and a useful tool! Highly recommended!

I really like Fred's pickle. I put it in a wine bottle instead of a cork and turned the bottle upside down, nothing came out. Then I put the bottle on its side in the fridge. No Leaks A wine bottle that I recently used for cooking and the cork didn't hold up well. Fred comes to the rescue. The brine fits well in a wine bottle and is easy to handle. The brine consists of food-safe silicone. Makes a fun gift to use. Hold onto Fred's pickle so it doesn't fall down the garbage chute.

I like to drink wine, but I like to have a glass or two at a time and I don't always have someone to share a bottle with. I have a bottle cap but it doesn't fit all bottle sizes and has more than once been too big for the bottle I've been drinking from. Cucumber! I like the taper which makes it perfect for different bottle sizes. Besides, it's so funny. It looks ridiculous at best on my bar cart and I'm lucky to have any item in my house that makes me smile. A tiny cucumber sticking out of the neck of a wine bottle is quite a surreal sight, and there's enough humor in it to make it worthwhile in my opinion. Opinion. It works when replacing the cork and looks stupid doing it. Just note that it's not as good as a vacuum stopper at keeping the wine fresh. But it's a pickle sticking out of your wine bottle. I love this bottle cap because it's fun and unique. I love those unique little things that add a touch of humor to everyday life. It's great that my stuffy wine snob friends are showing up. They're wine snobs to be honest but not stuffy at all and they loved it! And oddly enough, the salt stopper works well.
