Good soap dish. - Shaving soap dishes

Ideal for brush loading. Keep in mind that if you need more soap, the sides will be flat and you'll likely end up with some suds on your lip. Works very well with Taylor of Old Bond Street Hard Sandalwood Shaving Soap, 3.5 oz. Handy when first applying soap, but perfect for brush loading. The soap gets very close to the lid, but after a few shaves that shouldn't be a problem. Simply open the lid as shown in the photo to let the soap dry. Wood with a small crack on the lid. Wet shaving for beginners/first cup.Good quality.More than that.No.

As the title of this review suggests; This bowl is very good for those new to wet shaving, but after about 2 months (more or less) the polish will start to peel off revealing the raw wood underneath. At first it was an excellent bowl; Aesthetic flaws aside, even now it still holds the puck well (I use Col Conk) and foams around the edges, but as said before; there's not much left for this thing before it really starts falling apart.

I love this soap dish

Beautiful and durable. No sign of chipping or peeling paint after several weeks of daily use. Almost six months later, this bowl is still like new. I still use my original Taylor's of Old Bond St 3.5 oz soap which fits perfectly in the bowl. I rinse and wipe the bowl dry after each use. I assume it will last for many years. Now, after more than two years of use, the black paint has peeled off a bit. Small shavings will come out of the bottom of the bowl after the soap has been used to the point

This soap dish is very well made and durable. I've been using it four or five times a week for over a month now. Traveled with me on trips and often ended up in a suitcase or bag. No paint chips, no dents or scratches. The wood used is as hard as stone. I would buy it again anytime if I lost my old one.

Parker Mango Wood Shaving Bowl

My shaving bowl came in natural brown not black. While a bit confusing, it matches my other accessories well and works flawlessly. The product lies well in the hand when foaming, even when wet, and is relatively pleasant to the touch. It seals very well and cleans quickly and effectively. For the money, this bowl simply can't be beat.
