Genuine Toyota 81680 AE020 Taillight Assembly Review

My daughter needed a driver's side taillight after it fell in the trash can. Perfect fit for my 2010 Sienna. One tip is to install a deep socket.

Bought this part for $92.15 plus tax. The dealer wanted to charge $145 for the part plus $95 for installation. I found an installation video on You-Tube and spent about 30-45 minutes replacing the part. It fit like a glove and was part of Toyota's original equipment manufacturer. Glory Revan. Great offer.

I am very happy with the product as it is 100% the same as the original tail light assembly for my 2007 Sienna XLE. I've read some comments that it's not 100% consistent (reversed stripes) with the original lens, but that's not a problem for the one I received as it's 100% consistent with the original lens that was replaced.

This was a replacement for a damaged driver's side interior taillight. Although it is described as an OEM with a Toyota part number and Toyota box, they are clearly not the same. If you look at the red stripes that cross the taillight lens horizontally and compare it to the original, it's pretty obvious that the original has silver stripes. When ordering, check first and be ready to order both lenses so the look is good.

It was the perfect substitute. Sealing was excellent and new bulbs are included and pre-installed. What is NOT included are instructions on how to make the exchange. You will need to remove the entire panel from inside the tailgate to access the bracket and screws that hold it in place.
