I recently ordered a handmade Alpine watch strap. I ordered in dark brown. The quality of the watch strap is very good. It is made of thick leather with "Rallaye" design. The buckle is thick metal and feels solid. I am confident that this strap will last thanks to the high quality materials used in its manufacture. The watch strap is very comfortable to wear. I have a medium sized wrist and it fits perfectly. Nice watch strap. Highly recommended.

I think it's a very nice leather strap, very comfortable straight out of the box, the color should be brown, it's more like honey, I hope I can make it a little darker now it's a bit shiny but overall a good buy. My wrist is 7.5, if it were bigger it wouldn't fit so if you have large wrists this probably isn't for you.

Suffice it to say that the return period has closed for me. One end of the spring bar split wide open, tearing about 2/3 the width of the belt. First of all, the seller needs to remove the words "whole grain" from the name of this product. This is obviously wrong. This is real leather (even stamped) which is nowhere near the natural grain in quality. In one of the questions and answers, the seller even tries to confuse the issue by claiming that genuine leather is an industry term that refers to all genuine leather products. It's not like this. I like clean chocolate brown; and the leather, while not of the highest quality, is certainly more supple and comfortable than one would expect for the price. Spring bars integrated into the strap are a real bonus when changing watch straps. I put my watch on top of my Fossil Sport 54 Chronograph (a nod to Omega Speedmaster) to wear it like a "random watch" and it gave it a classic retro-vintage look.
