First of all, the seller needs to remove the words "whole grain" from the name of this product. This is obviously wrong. This is real leather (even stamped) which is nowhere near the natural grain in quality. In one of the questions and answers, the seller even tries to confuse the issue by claiming that genuine leather is an industry term that refers to all genuine leather products. It's not like this. Second, the band itself is terrible. It's hard and feels like plastic. And it smells like chemicals. There is nothing soft or malleable about it. If it was a $10-12 tape, fine. But it costs more, so I expected some quality. I was going to use this strap as an intermediate option until I received a bespoke order, but it won't even work for that purpose. A high rating makes no sense to me. Stay away from this product. I'm giving it an extra star because it's functional, but that's the only thing I can give it.
