These hats had a horrible chemical smell even after several hand washes. Then, as they became tolerable, the hats became too tight for any normal sized head.

Very happy to find 100% wool watch hats at such a great price. It's great to have enough to find them ahead of time so I don't have to constantly hunt for a hat.

These hats are very practical – they are warm because they are made of wool and they keep you warm even when wet. Plus, they're big enough to fit on a man's head without popping out of his ears. This is hard to come by with the cheap winter hats you can find at most stores. I bought a few extras to have in the car for emergencies.

It's wool, but if you wear it in the wind, the wind will go through! Keeps me warm to about 23F, after that you better put on a hood or what I put on a second hat under the wool hat for hours - it worked ok but not for very cold weather. Probably suitable for walking between car and house in winter, but nothing more.

I would give 5 stars but I ordered black. And they are green. Material quality and workmanship are impeccable. I just want them to be black, which is what I wanted. I've been trying to find this hat for years. But in black NOT green. I am very upset that they are not black as I ordered.
