Looks good but is so uncomfortable

I wore several pairs of Geox slippers many years ago and remember they were very comfortable. Unfortunately, these new model loafers are exactly the opposite: the New Damon Man Loafers are one of the most uncomfortable shoes I've ever worn. I've been trying these for a couple of weeks now and they are heavy, stiff and most importantly the insole is hard and kinda very unforgiving.
